My products are baked in a home kitchen and sold under the Colorado Cottage Foods Act. Cookie Quest is not a certified nut-free bakery and under law must attach a label to our food that includes a warning for potential cross contamination.As a parent to a child with tree nut allergies, I know how hard it can be to find a safe treat! I take every precaution to avoid cross-contamination in my kitchen and use ingredients made in dedicated facilities. Further, my food labels are very detailed wtih brands and ingredients so you always know exactly what's in the food.I understand that every individual has a different comfort level with food allergen safety.
